Understanding the Epic Day Pass Tiers
Epic has made it easier for skiers to access their resorts without committing to a full season pass. With their tiered Epic Day Pass, you can choose between three different tiers: the All Resort, 32 Resort, and 22 Resort passes.
The All Resort Pass provides access to the top-tier resorts like Vail, Whistler, Park City, and Breckenridge—the premium destinations that offer some of the best skiing in the world. However, this pass is priced higher, and may not be ideal for those who don’t have the time or budget to ski these top resorts frequently.
The 32 Resort Pass offers a more affordable option. This pass includes access to great Western resorts such as Keystone, Crested Butte, Steven’s Pass, and the Tahoe resorts. While not as high-profile as the resorts in the All Resort tier, these resorts still offer amazing terrain, plenty of powder, and a great overall ski experience. Best of all, lift ticket prices are much more affordable with this pass.
Finally, the 22 Resort Pass includes smaller resorts, many of which are located in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic regions. The resorts in this tier tend to be smaller with more limited terrain but can still offer an excellent skiing experience, especially if you’re looking for an affordable, convenient option.

For the 32-resort and 22-resort options, however, you'll find more variety. Meanwhile, the 22-resort pass includes smaller hills, mainly in the Midwest and Mid-Atlantic, but the New Hampshire resorts—like Wildcat and Attitash—offer fantastic skiing at a fraction of the price of larger resorts. Not all resorts in the 22-resort pass are created equal.
